ok...im prbly freakin out, sorry aless...but does anyone know if you can actually feel when your lymph nodes are swollen??...i know this is a symptom and a couple weeks after sex i had some pain in my groin...i went to a clinic and the doctor didnt know anything..he said it was nothing...a few weeks later i read online that swollen lymph nodes in the scrotum are an early sign of HIV...alot of these DOCTORS dont really care about their patients. they just wanna get you in and out.
Well guys, you ARE freaking me out. I managed to sleep a wee bit last night and now you have scared the heck out of me. I have read on the CDC site that there is only one documented case of HIV transmitted through deep kissing, and even that is not 100% sure. There must be blood in the mouth of both people kissing, and I don't think I had any.
You're only freaking her out more with your own over the top paranoia. There is no documentation whatsoever that suggests that anyone has ever contracted HIV from kissing. Pay a visit to anyone who works in the medical field and they will surely tell you the exact same thing.
You don't contract HIV from kissing even if there is blood. MOVE ON.
hey aless, i dont want to worry you(even though it prbly will :[ ) but i am pretty much in the same position as you right now. I havent even had sex with a girl a met a few weeks ago at a party but i started to get blisters and extreme dryness on my lips after kissing her....i went online and read from a credible source that HIV CAN be spread through intimate kissing. NOT through SALIVA, but through blood. People sometimes experience bleeding of the gums or whatever that could do it.....Just letting ya know cuz when I read that it freaked me out...im getting tested tomorrow,...good luck with yours ;)
Now you're gonna freak out over my choice of words? lol
well guys, tx for your help...but i'll go and get tested tomorrow anyway...i am worried just bcos i have never had ulcers in my life, and i have had them now for almost a week...they just don't want to disappear..
Baggio10 said "your sexual encounters were protected, and HIV SHOULDN'T be a concern for you'.....
Why should? HIV IS not a concern would probably make me feel better...
You don't catch HIV from kissing, or drinking from the same glass, or sharing a bottle. Kissing is considered to be a safe method of fluid exchange, at least in terms of HIV. With that being said, your sexual encounters were protected (well done) and HIV shouldn't be a concern for you. As for your mouth ulcers, they can easily be caused by stress/anxiety, and by the foods/drinks that you consume. If they become troublesome for you then go see a doctor about them.
sorry for the multiple posts...i could not see them
i guess i am just getting paranoid....
what about kissing though? there was a lot of kissing involved...
it cant be a "symptom" if you had protected sex!!!!
