Fear again

I know that I have asked too many questions but there is a thing that I have read which worried me..I have told you that I got tested 2 times at 95 days and they were negative..The dr patrick dixon and ACET it is written like this "Although the `window period' between infection and antibody detection is usually regarded as about six to eight weeks, at least 95% will test positive after twelve weeks (usually a lot more) and 99% by six months." Why does it say usually a lot more in parenthesis right after twelve weeks..This made me fear again..can you please answer if I understood this wrong..

Those are old and outdated guidelines.

In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results
