test results for HIV

Hello everyone Thanks for reading my post to start about a couple months ago me and my partner got separated for a while so during that time I ain't  having unprotected sex with another female which hurt HIV status is unknown because she works as a stripper.. so me and my actual partner decided to get back together but I was scare to have any sexual encounter with her so I end up taking a HIV test which really  I don't know which one it was generation  3 or 4, so I went to my doctor they took blood out of my arm and I'm pretty sure I end up taking my test write-up 10 1/2 weeks (73)days from my encounter that I had, so I end up getting my results back a week later they came back negative. I didn't have a chance to talk to the doctor because my results we're given to me by the phone which was kind of awkward.. how conclusive are my results at that point should I get tested again at 12 weeks..  thanks for listening and your answer will

Your results are conclusive, you do not have HIV. Even if the test was of 3rd generation, 73 or 84 days do not make much difference. Earlier, we haven't seen anyone reported negative even at 6 weeks, turning otherwise in the weeks to.come.

So relax, your test qualifies to be considered as conclusive

Diver58..one quick question.. I did my test at 73 days 11 days short from 3 months so that does that makes a difference at all? so today is 110 days I haven't had any kind of symptoms at all but I was thinking if I decide to test again are the test going to negative again, I will appreciate your response thank you

Call your doc's office and ask what generation test was used. Any test is conclusive after 3 months and a duo is conclusive at 28 days.

I call they told me it is the HIV 1 and 2 antibodies test.. so I'm assuming DUO TEST because it's looking for boat.

Then you are negative and can move on.

Hi AnxiousNoMore so I end up calling back again to the doctor's office so they can give me the number where the sand he test to get tested so I talked to them and they told me he was a 4th generation test, sorry if  I'm posting again but I want it to be hundred percent accurate about that name of test,  thank you. My apologies for Any inconvenience.

4 Gen is duo so it is conclusive.

So today makes 105 days, I saw like three or four red little dots in the head on my penis freaking now really bad I know got told me that my test were conclusive I haven't been back to my doctor saying she's been on vacation but I'm so scared to go back and test again ...I have not have need symptomsome at all ..
