Really worried!

I had contact with someone who I don’t know their hiv status. She stuck my hand inside her and was fingering her, she said it had been a long time for her as she was in her 50’s and she started bleeding profusely to the point my hand was covered when I removed it. Is there a possibility if I had a hand nail or small cut on my hand that wasn’t fresh or bleeding that if she had hiv I could contract it?

Hi, this was not a risk for HIV transmission at all. The only risks for hiv are to have unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse or share IV needles to inject drugs. Air inactivates the virus. Transmission takes place INSIDE the body and not with fingers. No one gets HIV from fingering even if there was blood or if someone had a hang nail or cut. It just does not happen. You had zero risk and don't need to test.

Even though my hand was inside her with blood on it when I pulled it out?
I don't know if you have taken any time to notice on our posts that everyone asks 'even though . . ."  If it were a risk, I'd have said so. You do not get HIV from fingering. Unless your penis was in her vagina or anus without a condom, you had no risk.
