We are glad that you tested negative but as our members have told you, that was to be expected as you did not have a risk.  We are now closing this discussion and wish you the best.

None.  ZERO. A blood draw takes blood OUT of you.  It doesn't put anything at all INTO your body.

As an adult, the only risks for HIV are:
1) having unprotected, penetrative vaginal or anal sex, or
2) sharing IV drug needles with other IV drug users.

If you don't do either of those activities, you will NEVER have to worry about HIV.

You had ZERO risk for HIV.  It doesn't matter what your test said - you didn't have a risk, you didn't need to test, and not surprisingly, your test is negative.  Stop testing, forget about this no-risk event and move on.
