Unprotected oral sex . Diagnosed with Chlyamdia and Gonnorhea

Hi

I had one minute of unprotected oral sex - insertive . I saw a small cut on my penis .

5 days later iv tested positive for chlymadia and gonnorhea . Im **** scared now . cant think . can barely walk . Iv read that Concurrent STI and blood can increase my chance of getting HIV .  What are my chances now ?

I started PEP within 26 hours of the incident .

MedHelp adheres to the guidelines set forth by the CDC and HIV experts that the only method of HIV transmission is unprotected vaginal or anal sex, sharing of IV drug needles in adults.  Saliva inactivates the HIV virus.  You did not have a risk from this exposure for HIV.  This should answer your question and we are now closing this thread.  We wish you the best of health.

You can go to the std forum if that is your concern, Neither of you have any medical background and this is an HIV forum.

Consider getting off the PEP.
HIV is inactivated in air so can't infect from oral. HIV is inactivated in saliva so can't infect from oral. You had no risk. Double zero risk.
PEP has serious side effects potential and is not to be taken unless  necessary, and taking it as a placebo like your doctor is using it for is not necessary.

The only sex risks for HIV are unprotected vaginal or anal which you didn't have, so you have no HIV risk.
