Risk of HIV infection: oral sex after shaving and eating

Dear All,

I had oral sex with a woman three hours after shaving last night. I was eating also. Concerned about risk of HIV infection. What is the risk of infection from small knicks on the face and eating chicken, crunchy chips?

Feel I could die!!!!  Please help!!!  I don't feel any cuts on the inside of my mouth.

Hello All,

I am just reporting back. I did two HIV tests. One full blood test after the potential exposure through oral sex on Mar 26, 2008 and a HIV rapid testing a week ago. The tests had a negative result for HIV. I would like to thank you all for the your support and comments in my time of desperation.

In talking to the HIV consellor he indicated to me that I may low self esteem and this is what may have led to me becoming involved in a situation where I was chemically impaired (drunk). It alerted me to the fact that there are deeper issues to the spread of HIV that just biological ones.

In my country there is an advocated policy with the acronym ABCDE:
A- Abstain
B- Be faithful
C- Condomise every time correctly
D- Do get tested
E- Educate yourself

I do not know if such advocated policies exist in the countries that you all may come from, but I think this is the one of the best advice that can be given without getting into religion, morality, or politics.

Also people afflicted with syndromes need our understanding and caring, and not our judgment.

Thank you Teak for your response to me (and to all in need of help ) and all the others who contribute regulary to the forums.

Sorry let me explain, was I tried to say is that oral sex gave to a woman is not considered a high risk, and since that is very common between lesbians, i sai what you read before. anyway the best you can do is read in the Dr.s forums about this.

I gave oral sex to the woman. Worried about any knicks I may have had and sore skin after shaving. Worried about eating chicken and crusty Chinese delicacies. Did not feel any cut in my mouth but still worried.

Please help me!!!!
