First off all . Thank you for your reply and yes I have an anxiety problem with all this  however
This was a real risk that was vaginal intercourse over a week .
Hence I am not sure if it was 22 days through to 28 days . Re the test that was negative
I have moved into a permanent relationship now and wondering whether I need a further test . Especially given the problem with the rash
If you could generally give your opinion that would be appreciated
Do I trust the test even though I can’t be confident it is 28 days but could as little as 21 days ?

It's extremely unlikely that any symptoms would show up at 7-8 weeks.  The choice of whether to test again or not is yours alone.  The test is reassuring at 21 days, but isn't considered conclusive.

The answer can't change to the same question you asked before. https://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV-Prevention/Is---HIV-Rash-normally-localized--and-can-it-be-the-only-symptom-/show/3061545#post_14538669

Was it oral, anal or vaginal?

Vaginal
Well you have posted over the years, in particular a discussion with the doctor whose advice is copied below. Maybe you should talk it over with a therapist because hiv prevention is straightforward, and testing is the only diagnostic so the doctor mentioned that he didn't understand why you kept asking about symptoms.

"Your thread last fall ended when you posted your HIV test result with "Negative  - science, experience  and logic beats phobia".

But apparently only for a little while.  You've been busy on this, the HIV community forum, and the expert international forum on and off for 4 years.  And now it seems you're asking yet again .......-- and even asking the same questions.  Of course the answers have not changed.

1) Yes, conclusive.

2,3) Same as last time:  this symptom has nothing to do with HIV, period."
