Saliva and Blood

Hi, recently I was talking to someone who seemed to spit when he talked. Eventually, i noticed that he had spit on a part of my lip that just recently had been bleeding. My concern is that his lip was bleeding as well and if he had spit with saliva mixed with blood onto my wound, could i become infected?
