Insertive Oral & HIV Symptoms

Hi Team,

I am a male and I have received unprotected oral from a massage women on 25th Jan 2023 first time every in my life with no relationship other than my wife. Exactly after five days of this act I had small transparent sore inside of my lips. It got recovered after 2 days and next morning I saw a little red spot on same lip and it got recovered next day as well.

This made me so panic and depressed I spent next few days on internet searching about HIV symptoms and got so much worried after going through multiple websites and forums.

Exactly after 10 days I felt nausea and did vomiting 2 times, the vomiting feeling went away on its own but now I have neck pain for 2-3 days even though I had 8 hours of sleep.

I am really worried and somehow started feeling I am positive. Although on this forum it's mentioned/answered to many posts that Insertive oral sex poses no risk but having back to back symptoms and after reviewing an article that the chances are 1 in every 10,000 act. I am very sad and depressed please guide me

The ulcer you got in your mouth is
Mostly  stress ulcer .. other symptoms are mostly related to anxiety and feeling guilty .... there are thousands of posts in this forum with same question and no one ever of those people who ask turned positive . Avoid reading and searching Google,  it will increase you anxiety and day after day you will believe that you are positive .. try to be busy all the time and move in .

Thanks a lot with this message no more searches on internet. Thanks a lot for your helpful response.
Hi Team I wanted to ask a follow up question as I am continuously having stiff neck on right side and pain in right arm for past three weeks. I never had neck pain lasting more than 20 days. The pain intensity gets decreased upon receiving neck massage or having Pain killer tablet but comes back again after a day or so.

Although based on you confirmation that insertive oral is Not risky hence I am trying to forget but unable to do so because of this pain as it keeps reminding me on my Insertive oral (unprotected), hence I can't stop myself searching through this forum for answers and try to avoid anxiety.

Please guide me as even though I try to forget based on the fact as oral risk with zero chance of HIV but this neck pain which is one of the HIV symptoms keeps me reminding about HIV. Kindly suggest I will be waiting for your response
Your situation involves personal contact with an object in air  ( hand, maybe blood, maybe cut, maybe fluids, mouth,  etc. ). You will be happy to learn that you had no risk, because you can't get hiv from personal contact except unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal with a penis, neither of which you did and you didn't share hollow needles to inject with which is the only other way to acquire hiv - there are ONLY 3 ways to get hiv. Note that 2 of them require a penis and the third requires a hollow injecting shared needle - there are no OTHER ways to get hiv. Analysis of large numbers of infected people over the 40 years of hiv history has proven that people don't get hiv in the way you are worried is a risk.
Hiv is a fragile virus in air or saliva and is effectively instantly dead in either air or saliva so the WORST that could happen is dead virus rubbed you, and obviously anything which is dead cannot live again so you are good. Blood and cuts would not be relevant in your situation since the hiv has become effectively dead, so you don't have to worry about them to be sure that you are safe. Any hiv test would be a waste of time.
There is no reason for a person to test when they are safe. The advice took into consideration that the other person might be positive, so move on and enjoy life instead of thinking about this non-event. hiv prevention is straightforward since there are only 3 ways you can become infected, so next time you wonder if you had a risk, ask yourself this QUESTION. "Did I do any of the 3?" Then after you say "No, I didn't" you will know that it's time to move on back to your happy life.
No one got hiv from what you did during 40 years of hiv history and no one will get it in the next 40 years of your life either.  You can do what you did any time and be safe from hiv.
The other person's status is irrelevant when you have no exposure to live virus.
No risk=no hiv disease=no ARS symptoms.
You should have moved on from this non-event on January 25, however instead you keep ignoring science and only believe your own MADE-UP ideas - despite having no medical training you somehow have 100% faith in your own ideas. At this point your anxiety is a bit of a mental health issue so see a therapist instead of continuing to waste your time by asking for someone here to create answers to your non-nonsensical ideas that come because you believe you know all about hiv and no one else here does.
I'm not sure why you keep coming back here asking questions, then telling us that you know the answer and no one here does - doesn't that strike you as ILLOGICAL, or are you thinking that you will convince this forum that the 40 years of medical history of hiv should be scrapped in favor of your version?
Thanks for detailed response and clearing my anxieties.
This forum does not provide anxiety support.  Our volunteers have patiently and completely answered your questions regarding this event, and there is nothing further to say.

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected (no condom) penetrative anal or vaginal sex, OR
2) Sharing IV drug equipment with other IV drug users.

As you can see, receiving oral sex is not on this list.  No one has ever been infected with HIV from receiving oral sex.  Whatever medical issues you are experiencing have nothing to do with HIV since you had ZERO RISK for HIV.  You should see a doctor if you are concerned about your non-HIV related medical symptoms.

Thanks a lot for answer. Is my anxiety causing all these symptoms. Do you think I need to be tested. Or shall I forget it and move on.
You don't need testing for HIV since you never had a risk for HIV.  I don't know what is causing your symptoms. I only know that it isn't HIV.
Thanks a lot may God bless u
