hiv rapid tests

Hi, what are your thoughts on the hiv rapid tests? When i went in to get checked, they pricked my finger and a drop of blood came out. Got results 15 min later and it was negative. Last time i had sex was Earley Dec 2008, got tested April 24th, 2009.  Its just that, the past years, i've had ALOT of partners. So if i was negative last time, is there a chance i could test positive down the road just due to my history of partners? Im a hetero male btw, not that it matters

im still so scared! I've had so many partners! And people from this hiv chatroom basically scoffed at the finger ***** rapid tests and said there isnt enough blood! I dunno what to belive anymore :( i havent been able to eat or anything... should i go get an actual blood test?

You did have a blood test. Yes it's just as reliable as a standard ELISA test.

what are your thoughts on the rapid finger ***** tests? im just not sure how they work... or reliable they are... are they as good as actual blood tests?

it has nothing to do with how many partners you've had.  all that matters is that you test 3 months after your last exposure.
