Hello again l, I’m really sorry that’s I have come back again. Im not trying to waste your time I know you all are volunteers and I appreciate it. I felt so much better because your help and I have deleted all the irrational thinking and relived the anxiety. Until recently I have weird symptoms and everytime I search about it I found out that’s hiv is one of the causes, it’s freaking me out.
I always remind myself that’s I never had sex or injected drugs but I look at my symptoms and gets scared of the idea that’s it’s might hiv caused it.
Like hair loss or shading, persist hand and feet numbness and tangling like pins and needles specially in the fingers also sore throat when I wakes up and the anal thing. It’s been 2 months since my last blood draw.
Does my symptoms changes your assessment that’s I’m not at risk from blood draw?
Do you recommend that’s I ignore these symptoms and future ones as indicator of hiv?
Can I move on? I really miss my happy life and want to focus on my studies.
The experts already answered your questions and concerns on HIV so I won’t speak on that. You probably want to get your anal sores checked with a swab test so see and make sure it’s not genital herpes or HPV. Just get that checked out.
I'm sorry you are so worried. You do not need to be. The only risks for acquiring HIV are having unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles. Blood draws are different. That's not injecting. It uses a different kind of needle. You will not get HIV from a blood draw. Sincerely, no risk.
