Scaring myself sick

I am a 45 yo married male who had a couple encounters with the same crossdresser 5 weeks ago; this was my first encounter in my entire life with a member of the same sex.  During the encounter I had protected receptive anal sex once (no condom break) and insertive oral sex without ejaculation.

Since the encounter I have been killing myself with fear over contracting HIV due to perceived symptoms (anal, prostate pain without visible blood).  I first started to scare myself when I read online that someone with "prostatitis" can have it aggravated during the acute stage of HIV exposure due to the body's enhanced immune response.   Then I began to have the feeling of post nasal drip that has lasted 2 - 3 days (in the past this symptom sometimes led to a cold but it hasn't progressed to an actual "sore throat yet."

I have resolved myself to be tested when the test is considered accurate but my health is suffering from the stress, fear, guilt, self loathing etc.

What ever advice anyone can give would be appreciated.

Thanks, Keith

You never had an exposure. Continue to use condoms correctly and consistently if you tend to stray.

Hey Keith,
I am not trying to judge you , but if this is a lifestyle you are going to be into , you might think about telling your wife or ending the lifestyle, because MSM sex is a risky way of life concerning HIV. I am sure you wouldn't want to put her at any risk now or in the future.
