Seattle Dept of Health Orasure Report

Hello,
I would like peoples opinion about the Orasure Report from Seattles Dept of Health from 2008. It says that the Orasure Advanced Rapid Test is far less accurate than Orasure claims. Is the fingerprick test from Orasure still considered reliable and accurate? I would like opinions not judgement please.
Thanks, Mike

They were only having trouble at the time with oral tests. It has since been corrected.

Hey,
Do you know if it was a problem with the oral swab test or fingerprick blood test also?
Thanks, Mike

Old news. They did have a batch of tests that gave false positives and clinics were testing earlier than they should have been used. As Vance stated they are FDA approved tests.

Talk to the Seattle Dept of Health on there findings, we have no basis to make comments on a report issued by them. i will say the FDA had approved the test.
