Serious HIV Worries

Here's my story.

On the 21st of August I returned from holiday where I met a very nice girl from the same country as me, I went to see her on the following weekend and then she came up and saw me two weeks after that. When she came up to see me we had unprotected sex, the only reason i did this was because of reassurance and thinking she was a nice, clean girl who didn't sleep around. I never thought anything else off this incident until now....

On the 27th of October I had protected sex with another girl, around two weeks after I started having a tingling sensation at the tip of my penis and my testicles were hurting. So I went for a check up for Gonorrhoea and Chlamydia, which both came back negative. I was going to get a HIV test, but the doctor said it wouldn't show up yet cause it was too close to the incident (i was only worried about the second protected sex incident, not the one before that). But now 4 weeks after the protected sex incident i have noticed a patch of white skin on my chest which ive been told today by my GP is fungus (ive been given cream), ive also totally lost my appetite and i feel dizzy and strangely weak and tired. The symptoms only started ones I found the white patch so im not sure if its anxiety or not which would cause this, i doubt it would make me feel this light-headed and tired?

Im just so worried that the unprotected sex i had with the girl I met on holiday has given me HIV, its so scary because i remember at the time she had a really bad dry cough (which is a primary symptom of HIV).

I will be going for a HIV/Herpes test on Tuesday which will take 2 weeks to come back with results, these two weeks are going to be some of the hardest of my life :(

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Thanks

i understand your fear and anxiety...but you must understand too that the only true way to know if you are infected is to test.

#1...hiv is a very fragile virus and not really that easy to transmit.  even if someone has hiv...it is NOT an automatic infection if you have sex with them

#2...it is harder for a man to contract hiv from a woman than vice versa.

#3...the chance that this girl had hiv is very loooooooooooooooooooooooow.

you have been advised when to test for an indication of your status and for a conclusive result.

i dont even have to look at the picture.  a white patch of skin on your chest has nothing to do with hiv.

Here is a small image of the white patch of skin i found on my chest, im just wanting to know if this in anyway would be related to HIV symptoms?

http://img148.imageshack.us/my.php?image=chestwv2.jpg

it seems to have faded slightly from a day of using the topical cream.

After reading around the web more i really do think this is again down to my anxiety, when I was worried about going for my first STD test i was light-headed and felt tired also, but it went away ones i realised there wasn't actually anything up with me.

It seems suspect how the feeling of everything starts as soon as i discover the white patch of skin on my chest.

Im hoping it is just anxiety and a test can clear that right up, i don't know why my mind is so susceptible to this kind of thing though ;(

Symptoms dont mean anything when it comes to hiv........ Stop looking them up like lizzie has said test at 3 months for a final and conclusive result

Do the symptoms im describing sound like it could possibly be HIV though? I spoke to the girl for the first time in a few weeks a few days ago and she said she was feeling sick and had diarrhoea, could just be a confidence, but these all seems to fit too much with the symptoms of HIV.

Its been 8 weeks now, so I suppose the results of the test on Tuesday will tell me if i have caught HIV.

the protected sex was NO risk.

any time you have unprotected intercourse...you put yourself at risk for hiv.  you can test at 6-8 weeks post possible exposure to have a good indication of your status...but follow that up at 3 months for a conclusive result.
