You're Risk of Contracting HIC through oral is Low but , if you want a piece of mind get tested including STD and try to educate yourself about STD including HPV. GoodLuck
Sephjay. You are wrong. Risk for oral sex does not exist. To say that oral sex is low risk is wrong. To protect themselves from HIV in sex you should protect the vaginal and anal sex, simple as that. ORAL SEX IS NOT RISK FOR HIV. Please advise correctly and based on scientific studies.
The risk according to the CDC is low -- 1/10000. The CDC is conservative, but there is always some risk.
For example, the woman cold have blood in her mouth (and while the mouth is a hostile environment for hiv), it's still possible for the blood to enter the urethra. And what if she's in the process of controverting when she has a high viral load?
Is this likely? Probably not.
But to prevent HIV (and more so other STDs), we should encourage the use of condoms even with oral sex.
Testing is an okay thing to do. It's harmless and everyone who is sexually active should get tested for HIV.
