Got tested together but just wondering...

So I met this guy, the first time we had sex the condom broke, smh. This was a week and a half ago

So we agreed to get tested, we got tested together yesterday, both negative rapid finger prick test,

since then things have gotten crazy, his ex somehow found out about me and contacted me and told me about how he’s had sex with 5 girls this month and I’m like wth?

So I read that during acute infection, the person can be highly infectious, with a high viral load but it will test negative if antibodies aren’t created but they can still spread it

Should I be worried? He did not ejaculate inside and we just stopped having sex all together once it broke but I’m just worried and creeped out honestly because I’m not sure how long it was broken, i don’t think any more than 60 seconds I just asked to stop because I noticed that it was feeling different and saw that it was broken

Please help I’m really hoping I have nothing to worry about

You need to wait until day 28 or beyond to have a 4th generation duo test to be conclusive.  Although, this wasn't a high risk event.  It's a known guy (not a high risk situation) and the likelihood that he has hiv is beyond low.  AND, the transmission rate for HIV from a single exposure of a condom break during vaginal sex is LESS THAN 1 percent.

So because the condom broke this puts you at risk for all STIs. The risk would be less because you stopped having sex as soon as the condom broke which is good but you need to be tested for more than HIV.

Go for a full screening in 6 weeks for chlamydia (2 weeks), gono (2 weeks), HIV (4 weeks) and syphilis (6 weeks).

The chances are with the brevity of the exposure you are fine, but there is obviously some trust issues here (warranted or not) so better to be safe than sorry.
