Ok. I will out my faith and trust in you Teak. I trust you know what you are talking about because you have lived with it for so long.
HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
Is it really that simple Teak? It seems like HIV is more difficult to acquire than it is made out to be. Is it true that a large enough of blood and/or fluids must be present in order to acquire HIV? is it also true that so much has to happen internally for HIV transmission (Not disagreeing or disputing with anything you said, just was curious)?
Just remember the following, it's real simple.
HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child
Oh wow, I didn't realize you were the same person from the poz website! I notice you are from Ohio, so am I! I apologize in advance for asking the same question. Everything I read shows little to no risk for transmission (via oral sex). I guess it's just the anxiety that is killing me. Do you have any suggestions to help with this?
You never had an exposure, the answers here will not be any different then the answers you've received at Aidsmeds.
