Risk of hiv infected virginal fluid on scrotal sore

About 2 weeks ago I had virginal sex with a lady I recently met. A week later I invited her over and ran a hiv rapid test on her and she tested positive. I used a condom however, I had a sore on my scrotum which am not sure her virginal fluid came into direct contact with. I immediately went to wash up after the sex with water and soap. As I washed up the soapy water ran down the sore.
1. What re my risk chances?
2. Can the virus survive the soapy water?
3. Can the soapy water carry HIV virus into my sore?
4. Will I be infected?
5. How soon can I run a rapid test?

It was wrong on your part to call over that lady and get a rapid HIV test on her. Your concerns ought to be about *your* sexual health, and not *her* health. People who have sex with others typically are curious about the HIV status of the other person, and then do all possible things to get to know the other person's HIV status, which is unethical, to say the least. If you want to know whether you are HIV positive, it is *you* who need to go get a test done, not the people you have slept with.

Now, to answer your questions, you were never at risk for HIV and do not need to test.

1. 0
2. No, even if some of them do for a few milliseconds, they would have lost their ability to replicate, because there were no host cells to latch on to.
3. No.
4. No.
5. You can run a fourth generation test 28 days later, and an antibody test 90 days later. But you don't have to do either of them, because you were never at risk.

Please read up, and educate yourself about HIV. Running someone's body fluids over your body cannot give you HIV. Nobody ever got HIV positive because of vaginal secretions running over his scrotum. Just move on with your life. All the very best.

The pertinent information  you need for this exposure and any in the future is HOW HIV is transmitted.  The only way adults get HIV is from unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles.  Air inactivates the virus.  So, you were not at risk from this event.  There is no reason to test.  This is true even if she is positive. And having partners test is ONE way to know if you had a risk if you had something like unprotected vaginal or anal sex.  Since you didn't, you have no worries and do not have HIV.
