I'm pretty sure there won't ever be a good preventive vaccine.
And that there won't ever be a full cure.
((((

The good news is that HIV is preventable.
So be smart, be careful and it will likely never be your problem

Because HIV integrates its genome into your own chromosomes.
And it can remain in that state for years, maybe decades.
How would you get rid of it?

Helping people that have had an exposure to HIV which you didn't. The STD forum can give you the support you need.

If I'm one of these people who keep comming back saying what if after I've already tested neg, then I should be banned. THere is still a possiblity something was wrong with the condom. I'm not sure about anything anymore. I have to test to get any type of relief. Hopefully I really wasn't at risk, only a test will tell.

He dismissed you because you didn't have a risk for HIV. This is an HIV forum. You had protected sex, you don't get HIV with protected sex. If you are concerned about HSV2 then post on that forum. I didn't call you crazy. I said seek professional mental health help.

I didn't blame the forum for that, I blamed my own current circumstances. This forum has been helpful in a way, minus the Doc dismissing me and calling me crazy, and you with your comments about mental health.

If I get removed, where will I go. I couldn't even go to the STD forum. That would not help me, and this site is suppose to be about helping people.

You have high blood pressure. It must be because of the forum.

This forum isn't seeming to be helping you any. I'll see if I can't get you removed to lesson your fears.

That wasn't even a threatening statement or anything. Are you serious?

I've never had any STD. I've never had to go to the Doc, and ask about STD. THe one time I slip and have sex with someone I really don't know I get something. I have the worse luck.

I have had very few partners in my life. I just can't stomach that I can have something like HIV or even HSV2. Either one would change my life dramatically. HiV obviously would change it a lot more. Teak man, I'm so scared. THats what I don't think you understand. Now I have high blood pressure. I usually so careful, 1 mistake may ruin my life.

I think I may have contracted HSV2. I'm now having symptoms. Swelling and a small patch of bumps on the skin under the head of my penis. I had a neg. test a couple of weeks after, but Dr. H tells people to wait a few months for a conclusive result.

I also had 2 low pos. results before I got the neg. I don't trust that lab. I think it was a mixup of some kind. Those people on the std forum want answer my question. If she had HSV2, she would be more infectious right? I got 1 std while wearing a condom, why couldn't I have gotten HIV as well? Add HSV2 with my symptoms, and I can't even stomach it at the moment.

now you're just being plain disrespectful to Teak. You need to refrain from your remarks and Teak is right, death is the only thing promised to us from the beginning. It's funny how we don't think about all this before we do the stupid things we do. There's children in hospitals fighting life threatening cancers and you're sitting here complaining about a possible HIV exposure (WHICH YOU DIDN'T HAVE!!).

I know what I'm talkin about. Your lucky to live as long as you did. And you have Aids now, so how long can one live with Aids.

Its safe to say that if a person gets HIV in their 20s it would take a huge amound of luck to see you 50th or 60th birthday.

If you don't know anything, it would be to your benefit that you keep your mouth shut so that you don't prove to everyone that you know nothing.

I'll tell you why they haven't found a cure. Cuz there all dumbasses. Governements spend billions on searching for sh*t on Mars. Why, are they going to build condos and sell them on Mars. If so, then it would be worth it. Then they spend more billions or trillions on meaningless wars. I think if your rich enough you can live a long time with it, cuz you can afford the best medication available. If your poor you just have to be lucky.
