Tests waste of time

I'm very upset that the infectious disease doctors had my do not one but two über expensive tests at day 16 after possible exposure. Tests were 4th Gneration and RNA. Risk was unprotected vaginal sex with ejaculation, I'm female . Partner is bi sexual male, he tested negative via rapid test August 12th.. I did have 4 exposures starting on July 1st no ejaculation but with the latest exposure being only 16 days ago.
I guess all the worry & anxiety was for nothing since now I have to re rest at 3 months!

No.  Any negative test is good.  Take the DUO test at 28 days

Yes are both tests performed a waste of time at 16 days post exposure?
