I had one unprotected encounter with a sex worker

Date 7 March 2018


Did following tests


Rapid Test at 3 months Negative


COMBO Test Negative at 24 week too


RNA PCR negative at 24 week 5 days negative too


Elisa Test at 25 weeks Negative


Combo Test at approx 7 months negative too


Western blot test negative too at more than 7 months


Combo Test from Dr Lal PathLabs at 8 months also negative


no other exposure


Negative Hepatitis B, C and VDRL too


is it conclusive?

You have tested negative conclusively. Medical science in India is top class,  India had access to HIV Duo test back in 2007, when most did not.  You have no reason to doubt delayed seroconversion.  You have overtested and tested negative through out.  There is only one thing pending on your part - It is acceptance, accept it and put this behind you.

2) Hypogammaglobulinemia- absent of gamma globin. unable to produce ab.
Under strong immunosuppresant
Or else, The test would be reliable

Are there any exceptions to this.   Can this be delayed beyond 7 months.    Are tests from a private lab in  India reliable?
