Thank you Teak for reassuring!
You never had an HIV exposure.
A follow up on the thread. I went to a doctor, told about the fever(I did not say about my hiv fear). He asked me to do a CBC test. The CBC results say I have high Lymphocytes, high Monocytes and low Neutrophil.. Doctor told it could be some viral infection and asked not to bother.. Could this indicate anything about HIV status. Please advice!
Thanks a ton for the clarifications, ashibhat.
You are conclusively HIV negative and no further testing for HIV is required. Oral sex don't carry any risk for HIV.
If anyone telling this, either they don't know what they telling or misinformed. We advice people based on several long term scientific evidence.
Forget about HIV and get on with your life.
Thanks ashibhat. The 2nd test(which showed negative)was 4 months after last unprotected sex.
But the penis sucking episode is really bothering me as many websites say that unprotected oral sex carries HIV risk.
If any of your two test mentioned here were 3 months after the last unprotected sex if you have any, then you are conclusively negative. Don't panic about your sucked penis incident. That exposure carries zero risk for HIV.
Whatever result you got from the test, if that <1 then your test result is negative.
Last of all you cannot get HIV by any kind of oral sex period. If your symptoms bothering you, check with your doctor, but don't worry about HIV.
