Hi, if you did not have a risk to start with, that of protected sex, no matter when you test, the result would be negative and that would not change over time. If someone had risked HIV transmission but unprotected anal or vaginal sex or sharing of needles, there is a guideline for when to test. When that guideline is met, a negative result will not change. Meaning, if they wait the appropriate amount of time, the results are conclusive and they can trust them. Your result will never change as you did not risk HIV. You never had a risk for HIV and do not need to test.
Symptoms are never used to diagnose HIV.
Please educate yourself about HIV and safe sex. The more you know, the less anxious you will be.
