Western Blot

I went to see a doctor, and he told me that my throat and nose are in the same condition...still irritated, not getting worse, not getting better, and this is driving me mad.
Anyway, he recommended a Western Blot test, at eight weeks, would it be effective? He told me that if it's negative, then I'll have yet another reason to relax and leave the HIV topic alone...oh, and another thing. Last saturday my weight was...around 96 kg, (I do know, I'm not a model, I'm kinda fatty), and today it was 92 kg. I have been following a diet...but this was really weird for me. I really hope nothing wrong is going on inside me.

Wait, so, then that test would be worthless?
Oh yes, I'm kind of worried...as those 4 lbs disappeared rather fast, maybe I'm just getting paranoid, but it was really unusual for me.
And I'm really sorry if I'm breaking some rule, it's not really my intention to flood or to annoy people, truly...I'm still a bit worried.
