Worried about problems

My worry is herpes related so I'm not sure if this is the right place or not but if anyone has any thoughts, I'd surely appreciate it.  I had an "encounter" 2 weeks ago.  I'm a male and met a female...we kissed and she gave me some oral (unprotected).  I stopped after about a minute or so and then she tells me that she has herpes.  She didnt have any open sores (that I could see) and now its been 2 weeks and I have no signs or symptoms.  Went to the doctor but he said that what he saw on my lip is probably Fordyce's condition but I'm still worried.  I've read on the net that it can take weeks or months to show initial signs and that some people never show any signs.  I'm worried and looking for some advice here...anyone?

You can't get HIV by receiving oral from a female with STDs, stop worrying.

Well it's really hard to tranfer STD's by Oral sex, but Herpes would probably be an easier one. However, the absence of sores is encouraging. Have a test done at about 4 weeks, I believe herpes would show up by then. It's highly unlikely that you have it though becuase your exposure was low risk and didn't last that long. But there are a lot of people on this site and around the world that would rather have Herpes than what they do have ( HIV). So either way consider yourself lucky. I'm sure you'll test negative.
