Getting an hiv via oral sex

Greetings to everyone,

Actually this thing make me worried. I always thought that getting(penis being sucked) felatio or blowjob are safe. Turns out that i found that it was low risk not zero risk. To my risk assesment, yesterday i let a girl sucked and blowjob my penis. Then i saw her saliva was slightly red when she spit it on top of my penis and yes she said she had a bleeding teeth. I stop immediatly after that. What should i do?

Greeting miss curfew,

i think most of people will saw online that someone had hiv via getting oral sex and kiss (blood tainted saliva). I saw it too on some where on web. Because we thought it was not risk until i saw it online last day. And most of us did oral sex many times. This is why most of us afraid. We (some of people online) think that something is hiding. Like it was happened but denied so it was not documented. I just need information. I hope to hear from you. Thank you.

Has this question been adrressed. After the blowjob, i continued with deep kissing. I have read online on another forum that there has been cases from this type of exposure. Not by saliva but blood. So they said if blood involved in both exposure; blowjob and deep kiss it has posed some risk. Testing is warranted. I use a penis pump before meeting the girl. Usually the tip is open because its swollen. I dont get the answer truly. And my hiv knowledge so little.

No - you will NOT get infected with HIV this way.  We talked about theoretical risks above, and that advice will not change.

If you never have unprotected anal or vaginal sex with someone of unknown status, and if you never share intravenous needles with another person, you will NEVER have to worry about HIV.  Testing is not warranted, and no HIV expert in the world will tell you it is.

It is ZERO RISK.  No one has ever been infected with HIV from getting a blowjob, and you will not be the first.  I don't know where you read that it was low risk, but it doesn't matter - if it was labeled as "low risk" it was a theoretical risk only.

You will not be the first person, ever, to get HIV from a blowjob, with or without blood.
