PEP or not?

Hey everyone,

To anyone responding to this question, thank you in advance.  I had a sexual encounter with another guy, we were chatting for a while before meeting, a few months, so I sorta knew him, sorta didn't.  Before driving over I asked him if he was negative and he said he was tested negative 2 weeks ago at a well known clinic in our city that I also go to for testing.  The oral was fine and lasted a while.  When it came to anal, I was the bottom, didn't last very long, roughly 50-60 seconds, with a condom. We found out the condom broke when we tried to change positions.  Not sure when it broke.  This was roughly 19 hours ago.  I asked him to his face a second and a third time and he reassured me he was negative.  I guess my anxiety is coming from the fact that he wasn't as concerned as I was.  Any advice and insight on this would be greatly appreciated, and yes I will be getting tested in November at the 90 day mark :).

We did not continue having sex after we noticed the broken condom, for all I know the condom could have broken in the last second when I stood up. There was no ejaculation

it's a risk that you need to take for yourself, I would suggest taking PEP.

Just a question, where does the top ejaculate? I would strongly recommend taking PEP if ejaculation is inside the anal. Otherwise, it's just a choice that you have to make by yourself.

Hi pep is a chice you make with a doctor. Though with condom breakage it is a risk. Specially with anal sex the highest risk.
