anyone with A LOT of knowledge on HIV?!

Hi,

I had recently come down with a throat infection: some red dots on palate, 2 canker sores and possible geographic tongue. My throat still feels a little uncomfortable here and there but everything else has disappeared.  This is now about 10 months after an unprotected exposure.  I understand that ARS usually comes 2-3 weeks after an exposure but can this be another stage of HIV symptoms or are people usually asymptomatic after the first few weeks after being exposed, and not experience any symptoms for a few years?  Someone please let me know if I should worry.  I was tested after my exposure around 9 weeks after. Negative. Thanks all. Hope someone can add some insight!

Your 9 week test proves you dont have HIV

ARS does not start 10 months after initial exposure.

Humans have sore throats commonly due to a garden variety of viruses, bacteria, allergens and environmental factors.

Seek professional anxiety counseling for further concerns with your HIV phobia.
