blood dentist

hi all

i want to check if hiv transmission is possible for my senorio

i was at the dental cilinic in the evening and as i was going to the toilet, my felt my left side of my mouth, beside the lip area touch the window handle. after 10 minutes, i went in to remove my stiches for my wisdom tooth extraction. the dental hands come in contact with side of my mouth and after that took the cutter and mirror to take out my sitches.

I am worried that if there is blood on the window handle and then got onto the dentist hands and into my mouth or to the cutter and into my mouth to my open wound after sitches remove any risk

The dentist told me the wound is still open with little bleeding at most and i got a ulcer in my mouth too

Any risk if the blood come in contact with my wound and ulcer through the cutter and the dentist may have cause my wound to bleed with the cutter

DR. HANSFIELD DESCRIBES IT AS...

"HIV isn't so easily transmitted.  Minor cuts and trivial blood exposures simply don't create a measurable risk.  Like many persons, you seem to think that "just one virus" is enough to transmit the infection.  That is not the case.  Substantial amounts of infected blood or secretions have to be introduced into the body in a way that exposes certain cells to the virus.  If HIV could be transmitted in the ways you are worrying about, AIDS would be 100 times more common than it is and would not be classified as an STD."

YOU DO NOT HAVE A HIV CONCERN.  CONTINUING TO POST ABOUT THIS NO RISK EXPOSURE IS AGAINST THE FORUM RULES, WILL GET YOU REPORTED...AND A SUBSEQUENT BANNING.  MOVE ON! ! !

Dear Teak

so in my case if i got other person fresh blood in my hand ( when passing money or handshakes) and i touch my mouth and accidently swallow it while drinking water or washing my mouth, with my open wisdom tooth wound due to sitches removal and ulcer in my mouth still no risk at all?

thanks
