blood draw anxiety

Hi first time poster. Male heterosexual never used drugs.
I hope I don't sound too nuts as it seems crazy to others but my fears are real to me. So please don't judge.
I went for routine STD and HIV testing Aug 12 at a planned parenthood. Everything came back negative . My fear is that the needle That was used to draw my blood was contaminated or reused from a HIV positive person. I have been with the same girl for nearly 18 months and engage in no other risky behaviors. My fear is this was the only way I've been exposed by blood draw. Is this even possible even if gross mistake was made? To relieve my anxiety I just took single antibody test 47 days post blood draw so nearly 7 weeks.  What is the realiabilty of the results in my case.  Thanks all God bless

No it is not the first I have heard of it. Many people have those thoughts. I would not call it irresponsible to get tested from being tested, I would call it an anxiety issue.

Then you had no risk. If your gf is HIV-, then you are HIV-.

Thanks Vance. My girlfriend is not HIV positive and I have only been with her for a year and a half so my only possible exposure would have been the blood draw

Needles are not reused. 3 months since last time you had unprotected sex.
