blood to blood exposure for a needle cut, do I need a check?

Dear Doctor:

This is my First time to ask a question in this form,I thanks for any answer for help!
Several day ago, I had a  Muscle bacterin Injection( Injector is once time, no problem), During the injecting, I found some blood on Nurse's thumb(Touch on my skin, should belong to others ), so the skin is also take some blood(flowing), finish the bacterin, Nurse push down a cotton toothpick (take some blood from my skin) on my needle cut( Still in Bleeding) for several second!
I think this should be a blood to blood exposure, but I don't how much risk I will take and Do I need a Check?

And another question, I also very confuse about if  HIV Virus exposed to air, how much time will make the Virus to die, the blood quantum should be concerned like a thin layer print on the thumb( Still in Bleeding), I hope someone can give a a right answer or a detail link.

And also how much quantum of blood or Virus Copy through blood exposure to body can result in infection.

Thanks very much indeed!

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
