can I rely on my tests....

I went to Dubai and had sex with a prostitute and was confused as to whether my condom got burst or not though many said that it didnt...I was extremely anxious....I didnt experience any swollen lymph nodes,no high fever though it did reach 99...I had rash on my body but my cousin showed me his body and said that the problem is with the water in Dubai...I had loose motions once though it did become okay after 2 days...I didnt experience any flu also....Today after 4 weeks I got my blood tested and the doctors performed HIV 1 and 2 Antibody test on me that was performed by 3rd Generation MEIA and it came negative...Can I rely on it???

4 weeks is not a conclusive sign niether is a 6 week negative but it is a good indicator according to experts. 12/13 week mark is a definitive result.after you test on the 3 month mark experts say it is conclusive. testing beyond the 3 month mark is always open for you.

Good luck

yes it's, but conclusive test will be at 3 month
4-6 weeks test is pretty reliable...

Another problem happened when I met a psychologist during tests who said that he knows a lot about HIV and from authentic sources and there is by no chance that antibodies can be detected in the blood before 1 to 3 months....is it really so??
