HIV after 13 years of possible exposition?

Hello. I'm worried due to the following things:

13 years ago a relative of mine came visite us. He's been in our home for 1 month. After leaving, he told he was HIV positive. Well, my worry is that maybe I have used his razor...

13 years after that, I got a folliculitis (doctor said it was due to the use of corticosteroids), blepharitis and a penis inflamation. It has been cured but I still have problems in my skin, like allergies, itches. I still have folliculitis in my beard area.

Is it possible to be infected via razors and the virus only manifestates after 13 years? My father could have used it too, but no problem with him, after 13 years. My wife is also ok (4 years of marriage).

I'm very very worried with it all. I can't sweat that I get eczemas with itch in the "wet areas" of the body.

Thanks a lot to anyone that could help me!!!!

Ok, thank you very much. I know it would be "solved" with a single test, but I'm too affraid to do it... It's stupid, I know, but the fear is very very big... I had an anxiety disorder because of that and I was put on medication for anxiety...

Well, I saw your profile and I read about you. How are you? Is everything all right? I read you stayed 21 years without meds. But how are you now? All right?

Thanks

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions, therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

Thanks a lot, Teak!

Let me just ask another thing. Sorry if i'm being annoying... It's due to worries... :(

A little drop of blood left in a razor (a "gillete" razor, ok). Let's suppose that the blood is infected. Then, 5 minutes later, someone uses it, shaving the face with water and soap... Is there no risk even so?

And a LAST question, I promess.. We all read that there's no way to detect hiv via normal blood test. But let's imagine this situation: 9 years after a possible exposition, the lymphocytes were normal. 11 years after that, another simple blood test showed that the lymphocytes continues normal (with an increase, still inside the normal range).

The question is: after so many time, if there's an infection with hiv, would the lymphocytes decrease in this period?

Thanks a lot again!!!!!!!

No you didn't have a risk from using his razor.
