1.Thats correct 2.They can and yes those category of people you just mentioned are considered to be immunocompromised. If you don,t fit into those catergories then you don,t have to worry about delayed seroconversion.

correct me if i am wrong....

1. autoimmune diseases will not delay the detection of antibodies....

2. immunosuppressive drugs taken by immunocompromised person cause the delay of antibodies to be detected.... @ 3 months.... and persons on chemo, people with advanced, terminal cancers, people taking anti-rejection meds after an organ transplant, heavy IV drug users... are considered immunocompromised person....???????

autoimunne disorder can delay upto 6 months but autoimune disorder is usually detected early in age and in this type of autoimune disorder antibodies are produced slowly.

OP..you are confusing autoimmune diseases and immunosuppression (being immunocompromised). The latter is where there is a theoretical possibility of delayed seroconversion.  That would include people on chemo, people with advanced, terminal cancers, people taking anti-rejection meds after an organ transplant, heavy IV drug users.
It's where a person's immune system is actually compromised, and not working properly.

Incidentally, the idea that even these conditions cause a delay in production of antibodies is highly debated.  Even people with immunosuppression still test POS within the 3 month window period most times.
