possible ARS?

I've met a girl almost two months ago and we pretty much fell inlove. We had regular protected sex until last weekend when we decided not to use a condom anymore. We talked about this for several days and we both told our status as healthy, with tests done. I did believe her and that is why I agreed to have unprotected sex.

5 days later, I got a strong sore throat  and felt like feverish but my tempereture didnt rise. Is this possible to be ARS and she wasnt completely honest with me?

ARS do not appear that soon, typically after 2-3 weeks and last for another 1-2 weeks, Your chances of picking up the infection is very low. There is strong possibility that she may not be infected because HIV infected polulation is typically less than 0.5%  and chances of having infection as a result of one act of unprotected sex is 1 out of 2000 for a circumcized male. Therefore your overall risk is pretty low, 2.5 in a million.

However having said that, if you are not sure about her status, relax, wait and get yourself tested after 12 weeks of the incident to get a conclusive result and lay your worries to rest permanently.
