5 months

I'm male and I had a negative test exactly 5 months after an exposure - vaginal sex without condom.
Is this conclusive 100%? No need to wait for an other test at 6 months? Thanks

One more question, I saw my GP yesterday for other reason and I asked him the same question, and he said to me for piece of mind re-test at 6 months, do I have to believe him since he is my doctor? Thanks sorry to bother you, I just want to put this behind me and move on forever
