need information about hiv and pep

hi everyone i am freaking out over a situation that happened this morning. i was very drunk and almost to the point of blacking out, well i guess i did which i realize was a terrible thing. i was chatting with a woman who i later found out is hiv positive. but the thing is, i dont remember if we met up. i remember getting food and texting with this person, but for the life of me i cant remember the time from getting food and from going home and eating. im thinking we didnt meet up but i cant remember for certain. i was wondering how i go about the process of getting prep or pep. ugh im sorry but as i type this its sounds ridiculous.

so a little update. i was able to get in contact with my bank to try and retrace my steps. i used my debit card at a gas station at 7am and then at a fast restaruant at 715am. and my room mate said he saw on the couch eating at 740am. so i'm certain i couldn't have met up with this person but it still doesnt explain why i moved my stuff to the back seat and also my penis feels like it feels after i have sex with someone. maybe this is just anxiety causing me to feel symptoms from nothing. is this possible to get symptoms or aches from anxiety?

It means that this is not an HIV issue.  You have clearly stated that you could not have met up with this person.  You have also stated that you nearly blacked out, or did black out, which could account for having moved items in your car.  There is no HIV prevention question left, and we suggest speaking to a doctor about your anxiety coupled with alcohol-related blackouts that cause you to imagine scenarios that did not occur.

I am trying to get in contact with person but no luck. I'm looking on her account and it says HIV positive, undetectable. what does that mean exactly? sorry if its a stupid question.

PEP is a very strong drug meant for people with confirmed exposure to someone who is known HIV positive. It has a variety of side effects ranging from mildly annoying to fatally serious. It can cause kidney and/or liver failure. A doctor would be an idiot to give it to someone like you who didn't even have any exposure.

I suggest you seek help for your alcohol problem because that is the real issue here. Getting drunk until blackout means your liver is already compromised, which means taking PEP would probably result in liver failure for you.

No they wouldn't because you can't even say you left your house. You were talking to someone on the phone and now all the sudden you think you had sex with someone? That's literally ridiculous and further proof that your alcohol problem is completely out of control and needs to be addressed as a priority. HIV is not your problem. Alcoholism is. Find an AA meeting today and go.

you are 100% right, my alcohol use has been out of control the last few weeks. i do remember leaving the house and getting food, my room mate said he saw me eating too. im just freaking out trying to retrace my steps. i probably wouldnt have been able to get erect because i was so drunk. i just dont know remember and that scares me.
