guilt stricken

I had sex with a man from a club, after a night of drinking, I think we used condoms i don't remember, i do remember the oral and actually swallowing what are the odds of me contracting HIV. i got tested it was neg. after 2 weeks the dr. told me he wasn't in it until 3 months. i tested negative for throat culture, and gonerria, chlamydia, and syphliss *spelling*

Thank you so much for responding! it makes me feel a bit better, just gotta wait till april 28th :) i think i have worried myself into an ulcer tho sigh. thank you again you relieved my anxiety a bit.

Oral sex is no risk, so o not worry about that. Since you do not remember whether he rolled the condom on or not, I would assume, he did not. In that situation, your risk was there and you need to test 3 months after the exposure. Yes 2 weeks test was too early to be conclusive.

However there are many odds in your favor. First, your partner may not have HIV, and so your risk with a negative partner is zero. Even if he was positive, your probability was 1:1000 therefore your overall risk was very low. Having said that, theough your risk was small but not zero, therefore a test done after 3 months is the only way to know your status conclusively.
