Terrified out of my mind.

I'm a 16 year old heterosexual male. About 6 weeks ago, I engaged in extremely brief unprotected vaginal sex with my at-the-time, now-ex girlfriend, who is 15.  The entire ordeal lasted about 10-15 seconds max, at which point I pulled out, realizing the magnitude of what was happening.  Since then, I have experienced symptoms much like that of Gonorrhea/Chlamydia (lower left abdominal pain, itching/burning in the genital area, occasional brief headaches every now and then which might be from stress)...however, my prime concern is HIV.  I now have a new girlfriend, who I'm extremely happy with and means the world to me, and I haven't been able to go get tested, but the paranoia of possibly having HIV is KILLING me. (The psychological rationale in my mind is that if she has Gonorrhea, or Chlamydia, or both, she has everything under the sun...which is most likely not true, but it's the way that my mind is presenting the argument to me)...

I'm about to go get tested, but given the circumstances:

10-15 seconds of brief vaginal penetration (unprotected) and with a 15 year old girl

What i'm most interested in, is can someone give me the probability of me contracting HIV from this short encounter?  Some reassurance would be lovely, because I've been absolutely driving myself crazy, and worried sick, that I've become almost dysfunctional.

Just an additional question, do you know by how MUCH the odds increase if this girl had an STD (let's say Gonorrhea or Chlamydia)? and would it be possible to contract one of the latters, but not HIV?

If it's for any relief, Dr. HHH on the expert forum claims that most people who test positive are ones who have had multiple exposures. Of course, it is possible to contract HIV on the very first exposure, but it's unlikely. So the odds are in your favor. Test to know your status.

Thank you, my anxiety will lessen as soon as I take my test, and be gone if and when it comes back negative, in the mean time, though, I'm just freaking out majorly.

The risk of HIV infection via unprotected vaginal sex for the male partner is 1 in 2000 exposures. Logically, short-term penetration reduces the risk of infection; however, according to the guidelines, every unprotected vaginal/anal penetration with a person of unknown status requires testing.

Test now for a good indication of your status, and retest at 3 months for a conclusive test result.

If necessary, seek counseling from a professional to help you deal with your anxiety.
