About contaminated blood

Is an large amount of fresh, contaminated blood infectious? Or it ceases to be infectious the moment it leaves the patient's body? Can HIV survive in such blood?
Looking forward to your reply.

Not if it's a small amount of blood and it would also depend on the VL of the infected person.

Thanks. If that blood coagulates in air, will it still be infectious?

No. I am just curious about the whether the viruses can survive in that blood. Will they die within minutes? And sorry for that grammatical mistake. I mean "a large amount of fresh blood".
