hiv oral sex

Hi!

I read a lot about hiv online, because i am scared of it (not smart, i know). However, i find that experts differ in their opinion on certain infection risks. In my country (norway), one of the sites offering advice says there is a risk of getting hiv through oral sex, and that people should be careful, but on this medhelp site people and experts say it is no chance! I am confused.... who should I listen to?

I have never given full oral sex to a guy (i am a woman) without a condom, but i have had unprotected penises in my mouth for up to 10 seconds. All men were heterosexuals, young and seemingly healthy. Am I at risk?

Is the whole hiv infection risk hyped? It seems among normal people and experts alike views differ significantly of what behaviour is risky in terms of hiv...

Can someone please clarify?

Thanks:-)

Not off hand...one was a SF City clinic study, the other was a study done in Spain.

Who should you believe? that is up to you to decide.
We state no risk due to many factors...saliva having enzymes that deactivate the virus, several studies that show it not being a risk, things like that.
