I would advise you to got to pathology and get tested because it's more reliable--all the best.

Thank you for your reply. I did read the directions. There is nothing about having a little pink still above the "c" line in the corner.

I don't know what you mean? I retook the test cause I panicked about my finger being in my mouth right before the test. This time I swabbed and put it in the tube. It turned pink and then the control line formed. I stopped looking at it and then read the results at 20 minutes. I did read the instructions. There was nothing about the test still having a little bit of pink above the control line. I'm wondering if I can consider this as a working test.

You're overanalyzing this.  The testing process is simple and is designed to include many levels of human error.  Read the instructions, and follow them, including the part about how to read the test.

If you cannot figure it out, or are unsure, then go to a lab for a test.

There was still a little bit of pink in the top corner of my test at 20 minutes when I read it. But a single line on the control. Is this valid?

It will not invalidate the test. Read the instructions. No food or drink or oral care products 30 minutes or so before the test . If you get a control line "C". then the test worked as intended.
