kids in playground needle stick

A little girl was outside playing in the grass and picked up a needle and through it at a little boy in a play ground that is cleaned every day so it could not have been there for a while the boy was stuck in the back of the head above the neck if there was HIV blood on it should the boy get pep to fight the disease. A nurse said there are no veins in the back of the neck so don’t worry about should  her knowledge be trusted.

I know you say there are no cases of it I read other post you remarked to but I have to ask one question then, in cases when a needle stick happens would it have to contain a whole needle or just the metal part say the metal of the needle itself say being broke off from the rest of a syringe and stuck some on in would that be a risk or does the needle have to be intact. please answer I will not ask anymore questions after this

hey teak im sorry im not an expert like you on this subject matter that's why I have to ask questions to fill in my limited knowledge I have not studied this question for years like you have so I have to choice to ask questions that you feel are excessive.

I was looking for a little more detailed information on why if a needle goes in some one they would not get infected when I read online the people get it by needle stick that seems contradictory to me.
