This is an HIV specific forum and there has never been HIV transmission in that manner.
There can be a risk for HIV or another blood-borne infection (like Hepatitis B or C) if the instruments used for piercing or tattooing either are not sterilized or disinfected properly between uses. Im sorry if im wrong.
what I said is wrong??
I do not understand much about HIV transmission
How long does fresh blood leaves its host before it touches the other injuries not transmit HIV
immediately with the small quantity ??
I will not bother you anymore with this question only
Thanks
Because I have read many posts here advice is not at risk
infected blood from a finger stick to healthy skin
and only after 2 or 3 seconds of this finger is touching up the skin incision
No risk? because once exposed to air...hiv becomes inactive and unable to infect.
Is this certainly
I used google translate,sorry
I like the professionalism in this forum, the doctors are very good, all very good and enthusiastic
Thanks all
That was total BS. There has never been anyone infected with HIV by tattooing or piercings.
Possible but unlikely, risk is theoretical - find one person who has been infected in this manner - it probably can't be done. You have a better chance if winning the lottery
humans are hosts to HIV. YES. Skin contact with HIV infected substances like blood, saliva and sexual fluids is harmless as our skin protects us. and yes if u cut yourself with the blood on it is likely u might get infected. iv needles and even tatooing equipment can transmit HIV just as easily. so exposing your cut skin to HIV blood in the way u described it might pose risk to infection.
