Would this be a risk for HIV?

About two weeks ago, I engaged in sex with an HIV-poistive indivisual (without being aware; and I am a gay individual). All we did is long hours of kissing and he bit my nipples with regular intervals for about 15-20 minutes. I don't remember seeing any blood, yet, due to the biting, there was a small scab that formed on my right nipple. Upon finding out that he was HIV positive, I didn't have any further courage to continue the sex.

Moreover, today, I woke up with a slightly swollen palotid gland (that's what they call it I suppose; it's in right -hand side of my face, to the  front of my earlobe. I feel the bone there feels more palpable than the other side and it hurts as press over it).

Now, most HIV hotlines that I had spoken with  told me that I have not exposed myself to any danger (as I was not in contact with his semen, nor his blood). Yet, I am concerned about this tiny possibility of not having seen his blood (what if there was a negligible amount of blood in his mouth that I couldn't have seen? He assured me that he's been healthily positive and that HIV is undetectable in his blood. Moreover, He stated that he had had a long-term relationship for about 7 years without infecting his partner). Yet, I cannot help being concerned about this swelling that I have encountered.

My question is, the swellings around the Parotid gland stemming from HIV, are they usually one-sided or two-sided? I have never had this kind of swelling in my life and knowing that this is one of the manifestations of HIV, I am very scared. Your explanations would be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Do not try to diagnose medical issues by reading on the internet.  If something DOES feel swollen, it could quite possibly be from you prodding it.  You need to see your doc if you are having an issue.  It is not HIV related in any way.

Well, the site of the swell is called Parotid Gland (as far as I could research; it's to the right of my right ear, close to my earlobe, on the side of my face; I feel as if it's pushing out the bone slightly; the difference between the right and the left side is prominent when touched). I have read on the internet that the swelling of the Parotid area is amongst the early manifestations of HIV; that's why I am alarmed as I have never had this kind of swelling. Am I going crazy?

Where are you coming up with the swollen arear on the side of your face as being a symptom of HIV? Before you ever attempt to have sex with anyone at least take time to educate yourself. You did NOT have a risk of contracting HIV.

"All we did is long hours of kissing and he bit my nipples with regular intervals for about 15-20 minutes"

hiv is spread through...unprotected vaginal/anal intercourse, sharing of iv drug works, and mother to child.

Well, with all due respect to individuals with HIV, would would you feel knowing that you've engaged in the aforementioned activities with someone having HIV? I mean, honestly speaking, I am on the verge of going crazy; this is my first encounter with someone HIV+ and having this swollen area on the left side of my face, which is said to be one of the symptoms of HIV, drives me mad. So, what you're saying is, in spite of this swelling, you don't deem it necessary to get tested? I have had the most two hideous weeks of my life, riddled with the feeling of guilt, anxiety, and fear.

First how do you know they are swollen did a Dr tell you this? Never assume until it is confirmed by a professional. But you didnt contract hiv from the exposure above

Dear AlienShadow,

I can assure you that this experience has enabled me to learn an enormous amount of information about HIV. I am simply concerned about the swelling on one side of my "Parotid" gland two weeks after the experience. Is this a lymph node? Why would it swell and how would it be related to HIV?
