need help

i was in mumbai yesterday and was drunk badly and picked some pros for sex .although i used a condom,i still  fear that i might contract hiv .i m not aware whether she was infected or not.but i feel depressed with the fact that i did such a dirty thing, being from a very clean and decent family.if any of you could help me at this time, i will always be grateful to him/her.could anyone advise  as to what is the possibility of me contracting hiv.is it that it spreads through body fluids like saliva and other fluids from the vital organs ?how does using a condom protect us from infection?what is the way in which infection happens during sex(oral or otherwise)?

hiv is transmitted through...

UNprotected vaginal/anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works with an infected person
mother to child

you're fine...NO RISK from what you are describing above.

Kudos for you, you used a condom! Now relax and forget about HIV. Deal with your guilt instead. My advice, which is worth what you pay for it, is to accept the fact you are a male, you have sexual needs, you fulfilled them in a reasonably responsible way and practiced safe sex.  Is a monogamous relationship safer? Answer. Yes. Do all men who have sexual needs have that option?  Answer, No. Is what you did pretty damn safe? Answer Yes.  I figure I am more likely to die in traffic on my way to see a hooker than I am from HIV from her if I practice safe sex.  Don't beat yourself up; pat yourself on the back for being responsible.

Okay, it's fairly clear you're funneling your guilt into this whole situation and creating additional concern.

You used a condom. If you used it correctly, you're fine. HIV is not spread by kissing, nor from cunnilingus (going down on a woman) or receiving a *******.

HIV is caused by fluid contact with mucous membrane. A condom prevents this by keeping the fluids separate. That's pretty much the gist of it. For the most part, HIV is not spread by oral sex.
