paranoid

I had 2 possible exposures to HIV first one was in dec09 I had unprotected sex with a friend and contracted chlamidia.. on march2010 I got an HIV test and tested negative for HIV.

Second one was with a girl that I met at a bar we had sex with a condone after 4 weeks I started felling pain in my groin n started having a lot of pain in my joints as well as musle aches and night swets i went to the doctor and they did a blood cell count test everything came out good except that my monocite was a Lil elevated. I'm very paranoid n think that I might have HIV can anyone help

Other possible exposueres are
Fingering a girl
And kissing

There are 50 BILLION things that could cause an elevation is monocyte levels! What do you mean "HIV is the only thing that I can relate it to...." You are just fixating on HIV because you are scared and have no reason to be. You tested negative for your first REAL exposure, and your second "exposure" was not a risk because you used a condom. Listen to Lizzie as she has reassured you multiple times now. Protected sex means protected sex- period! That's what condoms are for. You have not had a risk. Please stop worrying and move on.

"IF" you had been exposed...THEN you'd have a hiv concern.

kindly move on...

ask your doctor...no one here can diagnose you.

this forum is hiv specific and you dont have a hiv concern.

well...if your first test was 12 weeks post exposure then you do not have hiv

the second "exposure" was not an exposure...you had PROTECTED sex.
