partners symptoms persisting

i know i was told to move on, but my partners symptoms continue. The fever broke in about 36s hours. but a week later, her sore throat, and horrible cough continue. Now she has to painful canker sores on each side of the lateral part of her tongue. one side has turned white, almost looks like OHL. she also tells me to move on and accept my test results of 4 weeks and 2 days, but she refuses to test herself saying that it will just feed into my anxiety. Im just scared because i was told it was probably a non std viral infection that i passed to her. But her symptoms are completly different than mine, and dont seem to be contagious. me and our roomate have not gottten her set of symptoms.

sorry, im not meaning to post excessivly.  this has just been the scariest thing ive dealt with. Between the coincidence of symptoms and my guilt and anxiety. this has been hard to shake. my insurance wont really cover mental health and all my GP could do was prescribe wellbutrin which isnt helping. im just having a hard time accepting that my test 3 weeks after symptoms onset is conclusive

You can't judge anyone's HIV status by symptoms- neither your own or your partner's. And coughing isn't an ARS symptom anyway.

Please move on.

its just been so hard, i thought i could put it behind me until she started exibiting symptoms.
im freaking out more because her pelvic/groin region is enlarged very visibly, and is painless! can a cold cause lymph nodes to puff out so big it looks like a fold?

A cold/viral infection does not effect one person to the next the same. My daughter got a cold, she gave it to me. I got a fever, she did not. This was just 1 week ago. My wife and son didn't get anything.

So either move on or see a therapist.
