Protected sex, condom didn't cover base, fear open cuts were there!!

Had protected sex with a Thai girl (open kiss for 30 sec max). My condom didn't cover the base. I now fear that there were minute open cuts on the penis base and base touched vagiana. Now 1 week over got joint ache in left shoulder. Is there any chance of being infected with HIV??

Hi.  As our members have said, you do not describe something that would result in transmission of HIV.  We are sorry you aren't feeling well and seeing a doctor for that would be a good idea.  But as you did not risk HIV from what you describe, there is nothing to add to that.  We are now going to close this discussion.  We wish you the very best.

Again...........as long as the urethral opening was covered by the condom, you had NO RISK.

As long as the head of your penis was covered, you had no risk and do not need to test.
That the condom was slightly lower than the base of your penis is NOT a risk even if vaginal fluids were to touch it.

Your aching shoulder is probably just a muscle strain. See your doctor in a week if it is not healed.
